What is Nadgenius Labs?
Nadgenius Labs is your one stop shop for educational and adventurous learning supports. We provide services from school-wide curriculum consultations to one-on-one sessions. Regardless of the service, we pride ourselves in creating hands on learning opportunities that your students will actually enjoy doing. In fact, we take learning through play so seriously, we've coined the term ADVENTUCATION to help capture what we do. It is experiential learning with a playful twist! Whether you're a school district looking for creative ways to raise test scores, or a home-school parent looking to make learning come alive, Nadgenius Labs has you covered.
Founded in Neuroscience
Nadgenius founder Ryhan Nadji began her career as a neuroscientist and has used this background to leverage best practices for teaching.
Leveled for beginners, high achievers, and Special populations
Students work at their own speed, and Nadgenius labs works tirelessly to ensure that our lessons match whatever speed that is. We provide multiple versions of the same lab in order to attenuate to the individual students' needs. Founder Ryhan Nadji holds a Master's Degree in Special Education, and reviews all labs in order to maximize inclusivity. That being said, if your student's need is not being met, let us know so we can help you differentiate your lessons to fit your student's needs.
Explained through play
Research has long backed, what many caregivers have intuitively known: that play is an integral part of learning. Not only does frequent play foster improved academic outcomes, it also helps to develop the full child. Improved self-control, a better understanding of social cues/norms, and healthier physical outcomes are all residual effects of play.
Culturally relevant
Nadgenius Labs began its work in inner-city Atlanta. Here we found that educational materials were often given to teachers without the students' cultural and educational background being considered. Research has shown that this can be detrimental to student's academic outcomes. Because of this, Nadgenius Labs works to incorporate themes/motifs of cultural relevance to minority students who are most often overlooked.
